Job Opening – Executive Director

A Secret Safe Place for Newborns of Tennessee was founded in 2001 with the passing of Tennessee’s Safe Haven Law.  Our nonprofit organization is guided by an energetic and engaged all-volunteer board of directors.  We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Executive Director, which will become vacant in April for the first time in 15 years.  A college degree is preferred, but not required; experience in a non-profit environment will be valued highly.  Qualified candidates will have experience in fundraising and grant-writing; will be adept at all aspects of social media use, maintenance and reporting; will be comfortable speaking to a variety of audiences, from high school students to legislators; will be able to work independently, as this position does not have direct supervision; and will possess superior verbal and written communication skills.  The position is salaried and will be based on 30-40 hours per week with significant flexibility.  Our organization has a physical office, but work at home is also acceptable.  Travel to other areas of Tennessee is expected.  Interested Candidates should submit a resume and cover letter to
